Oliphant Partners With Sports Alive For 2019 BTCC

Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship rising star Tom Oliphant is partnering with Sports Alive for the remainder of the 2019 season, benefitting from their contractual bonus cover and personal injury insurance as he competes in the highest profile race series in the UK. Sports Alive is a trusted provider of risk management solutions. Having served clients across the globe for the last 18 years with bespoke packages that cater for their every single requirement, they have a wealth of experience specialising in indemnity products and associated marketing services. Oliphant will be covered by one of Sports Alive’s most popular packages at the moment, the contractual bonus insurance. This protects against the financial risks associated with performance bonus incentives written into contracts. The Leamington Spa based racer is currently in his second season in the British Touring Car Championship. Racing with the manufacturer Team BMW outfit, a successful campaign so far has seen Oliphant secure two overall podium finishes and two Jack Sears Trophy successes. Tom Oliphant: “I’m very proud to welcome Sports Alive to our team. They have a wealth of experience working in the top level of sport, partnering with some of the biggest athletes in the world to secure bonus based sponsorship schemes. “I’m excited to bring them into the Motorsport industry and I look forward to introducing them to many new opportunities. Together I see a long and fruitful relationship, starting this weekend at Knockhill with the aim of my first BTCC win.” Pete Lowndes-Burt, Director at Sports Alive: “We are delighted to be working with Tom Oliphant. As an FCA-approved appointed representative, we have direct access into the Lloyd’s of London insurance market, which means we can offer Tom total peace of mind that he is covered and will not be faced with any surprise costs. “By insuring with Sports Alive, we take responsibility for the payment of bonuses on behalf of a club or sponsor, in return for an insurance premium at a fraction of the cost. It makes very good business sense for any company in the sporting world. “With the aim of covering even the biggest insurance needs at the same low Sports Alive prices, clients also have the flexibility of tailoring packages to suit their own individual needs. Our mantra is to help customers find a big policy at a small price.” The Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship is the most popular series in the UK, with over 380,000 fans attending the ten race meetings across last season, while the championship’s television coverage on ITV reached a total UK audience of over 19 million in 2018. The 2019 campaign continues this weekend (14/15 September) in the picturesque Scottish highlands, with Rounds 22, 23 and 24 taking place at Knockhill.
